Physiotherapy
Our Physiotherapists work with children and teenagers who have a physical or gross motor difficulty caused by developmental delay, congenital conditions, injury or illness.
Our goal is to assist in improving their quality of life by using a combination of exercises, therapy and aids and to help them participate and enjoy daily activities at school, at home or during play.
- Developing gross motor skills - running, jumping, riding a bike, catching a ball, climbing a playground or participating in sport.
- Improving coordination and balance.
- Improving Low muscle tone to increase strength and endurance, improve posture and body awareness.
- Prescribing and using specialised equipment - seating, standing frames, walkers.
- Orthopaedic conditions such as plagiocephaly, lower limb, scoliosis, or joint pain.
