Enhancing their ability to engage in the community, boosting their self-esteem, wellbeing, and sense of purpose.
Our team of Occupational Therapists can assist with:
- Everyday living such as household jobs, cooking a meal, and self-care.
- Assistance with physical movement with mobility aids.
- Assessment of home modifications to help you continue to live safely and independently such as access ramps, grab rails, auto door openers.
- Access to the community with public transport, vehicle modifications.
- Financial management, understanding how to count money and budgeting.
- Social participation so you can live a purposeful life such visiting family and friends, finding community services and clubs of your interest.
- Improving confidence in public and social situations, improving relationships and making new friends.
- Assessment of assisted technology that can help you perform tasks more easily, like shower chairs, commodes, bed mattress seating and wheelchair prescription and visual and auditory aids.
